Manual Massage

The rubbing or kneading on part’s of the body especially to aid circulation, relax the muscles, reduce pain, increase joint flexibility, and reduce stress. Massage enhances immunities by stimulating lymphatic drainage.

 

Hot Stone (SYNERGY STONE)

A form of massage using smooth stones (warmed between two heating pads) on the body to soften and relax muscles. Stones are placed on certain areas of the body to relax and soften muscles or are used to massage tightness and tension away.

Warm Bamboo

A form of massage using smooth Bamboo or Rosewood sticks (warmed in a heating pad) on the body. The warmth from the bamboo assists in softening the skin and underlying muscles to release tension and loosen of knots.

 

Deep Tissue/Sports

A vigorous-paced massage, where deeper more intense pressure is used to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability. Used to modulate pain; increase range of motion (ROM), reduce or eliminate soft tissue inflammation; induce relaxation; improve contractile and non-contractile tissue repair, which improves function.

Acupuncture is one of the main forms of treatment in traditional Chinese medicine. It involves the use of sharp, thin needles that are inserted in the body at very specific points. Auricular acupuncture is designed to help aid in the battle of kicking addictions. It is a series of 9 (20 minute) sessions. Each session is modified for the individual needs of each client. Due to the discounted prices, all sessions are done in the home office. Once the initial protocol is completed monthly sessions may be needed to ensure sobriety.

Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) is a soft-tissue treatment that utilizes specialized tools to provide compressive strokes to manipulate the skin, myofascial tissue, muscles, and tendons. The compressive strokes from IASTM help stimulate the healing process in the injured area to aid and speed up recovery. Current research shows that IASTM can effectively treat upper extremity pathologies such as carpal tunnel syndrome, lateral epicondylitis, trigger thumb, shoulder injuries, and other myofascial injuries.
